Hey all. As a product person you constantly receive and digest a lot of information. I’m not an exception.
I decided to digest some of it for you and share the most interesting and thought provoking articles and blogs about Product and Technologies. I’m committed to do it at least weekly.
Today's letter is all about AI as it takes the hearts and minds of a lot of product managers and engineers all over the world.
Marty Cagan in the article "Preparing For The Future" shared his thoughts on the impact AI might have on Product Managers and Teams. It is in the form of a written narrative which makes it quite a good evening read. I'm not sure about the Ethics (last one) part though.
My wonderful colleague Sasha Mitroshkina shares how her Product Marketing team adopted Scrum sprints. A fascinating read with examples and step-by-step walkthrough. No AI here yet.
Tribe Capital developed a Tech Adoption Gauge to quantify adoption within specific industries. It turns out AI and Sustainability are gaining momentum. A nice punch from the article:
"This surprises us; these days, it seems early-stage investors often can’t finish two sentences without mentioning ChatGPT."
Artificial intelligence is becoming more and more popular among product managers and engineers. GitHub published a survey about developer productivity and AI coding tools. Even though it is reported that 92% of engineers are using various AI tools, I'm looking forward to learning more about productivity impact in the long run.
AI can be applied in different fields. Most certainly there is a tool for X that you might think would be great to have. You may also check the following lists: aitoolsdirectory.com, various lists on GH (one, two), allthingsai.com.
Good to see the positive trend - companies are no longer laying people off. I hope this trend stays and we see another surge in hiring. By the way, some think that AI (yeah, again) is responsible for markets recovery.
