  1. Product Compass has wealth of Product knowledge in their Notion. To get access you need to be a subscriber. Find links to it here. There collection includes books and videos for product managers, templates, LLM prompts and many-many more.
  2. I learnt today about https://chatllm.abacus.ai/. Seems they provide access to various LLMs for $10/month. Like you can have access to ChatGPT, Gemini and others for $10/month vs paying $20 per subscription per each.
  3. SaaS predictions for 2025. AI-fication of SaaS continues, prove ROI or disappear, AI assistants, Vertical SaaS, etc. I like the Vertical SaaS idea and looking forward to see more AI-powered vertical SaaS companies in the future.
  4. Adam Jacob, the founder of Chef, shares his view on OSS licensing and commercialization at KubeCon. Main thought - if you have something cool in open source - don't give it out for free. An interesting example, is the revenue of RedHat for RHEL (<1% market share, $3b revenue) vs Canonical Ubuntu (30% market share, $243m revenue) - there is no free RHEL, just paid licenses.
  5. The Best Growth advises of 2024. Easy to consume and digest advices from various companies on how they accelerated growth.

Bonus track:

  • Percona's tech writers team worked tirelessly to launch the "What's new" page. This is where we are going to share all the product release information and updates in our service offerings. Users can subscribe via RSS to receive updates. It is also possible to filter by product family to see only relevant info.
Happy holidays, everyone! :)
